Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
The first day of tour is simply an arrival day with no pre-organized activities. Our representation will brief you about our country and general information, and the meeting time will be scheduled about the program.
Day 2 Drive from Kathmandu to Panauti
Following the Araniko Highway out of Kathmandu, climb up, out of the valley to the village of Panauti, set at the confluence of sacred rivers ( 35km,1 hr).
Panauti is historical Newar town which is one of the oldest in the Kathmandu valley. Dotted with pagodas and other religious shrines, most of the monuments, temples and community shelters (satals) are made of terracotta. A temples with their gilded roofs, carved wooden columns, elaborate carvings and wide courtyards impart an eastern mysticism, and the remains of the Durbar Square can still be seen in town centre. A part from historic setting of the town, great families are waiting to welcome you to their humble abodes as a part of the Home Stay program.
Day 3 Hike from Panauti to Dhulikhel via Namo Buddha
Drive from Panauti and start your trek to Namobuddha, which is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Valley, particularly significant to Tibetan Buddhists. It is associated with one of the Jataka Tales, which recounts the previous lives of the Buddha. Colorful prayer flags and pilgrims surround the white stupa and a carved stone slab recounts the tale. The 5-hours walk through fields, plantations and small villages is extremely pleasant and offers an excellent glimpse of rural life. Trekkers can take their lunch at Namobuddha. After lunch we continue trekking to Dhulikhel and stay overnight in the hotel. Dhulikhel is renowned for its views of the Himalaya - particularly impressive at dawn. (1440m, 5hrs)
Day 4 Hike Dhulikhel to Nagarkot
The hike between Dhulikhel and Nagarkot takes about 5 to 6 hours. There will be a lot of climb and descent but it is never going to be too difficult as the trail is perfect for a day hike like this.Dhulikhel is a real Newari town, not just a tourist resort. It's also a good centre for short day treks - many visitors come here to stretch their legs before setting off on longer treks. Nagarkot offers even closer views. The peaks on view stretch from Langtang Lirung (7246m) in the east, through Dorje Lakpa (6966m) to the huge bulk of Gauri Shankar (7145m) and nearby Melungtse (7181m) and as far as number (5945m) in the east.
Day 5 Hike from Nagarkot to Bhaktapur via Changu Narayan
This day, we trek all the way down to Bhaktapur. On the way, you will see from close quarters, the lifestyle of local Newari farmers. Bhaktapur is centered around its famous Durbar Square where museums, temples, courtyards and squares reveal the best of traditional art, crafts and architecture. You may find any kind of cuisines, for instance, Chinese, or Italian, or Indian, in the Bhaktapur Durber Square.
Day 6 Drive from Bhaktapur to Pokhara
Leaving Bhaktapur on one of the country's busiest roads can be slow, but once out of the city the views are impressive - the Trishuli River and the massive marshyangdi Hydroelectric Project powerhouse as well as ancient stone villages backed by steep rice terraces and the mountains beyond. Crossing the Madi River, climbing again ( with view of deep rocky gorges crossed by suspension bridges) before descending to the broad Seti valley and Pokhara.
Day 7 Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and Trek from Nayapul to Ulleri
After breakfast one hour drive to Nayapul, then our trek begin from Nayapul to Ulleri. After 30-minutes walking along the Mosi stream, you will reach at Birethanti - a gorgeous village that has plenty of tea shops and guest houses. Then follow the left direction through the village. Your trek continues heading to Ulleri along the bank of the Burungdi stream. (1960 m) - 4 to 5 hrs walk.
Day 8 Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani
Ghorepani is an interesting place with small shops and stalls for selling local products and craft. Ghorepani village offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri Mountains.
Day 9 Excursion hike from Ghorepani to Poonhill and Trek to Tadapani
Early in the morning, go for hiking to Poon Hill. From here you will see super view of sunrise, and panoramic view of Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail and so on. Poon hill is a view point where the snow capped mountains and sunrise view will leave you breathless and speechless. The 360 degree panoramic view of Annapurna ranges presents the most incredible views for your lifetime experience. This is one of the best place to explore the most incredible scenery and fascinating villages.
After visiting Poonhill, continue walking to Tadapani
Day 10 Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk
The trail initially climbs through thick forest before emerging to further resplendent views, eventually reaching the Gurung village of Ghandruk (1940). It is naturally anad culturally rich village of the ethnic Gurung people where you will have an opportunity for a close loot at the daily lives of the villagers and Annapurna South view where you will find the peaceful environment.
Day 11 Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara
This is the last day walking for this trek. We walk around 3 hours descending to the Modi river. After reaching river bank there is small village call Ekle Bhatti. After this village we follow the river about 2 hours Grazully walk up to Nayapul. And drive back to Pokhara
Day 12 Drive from Pokhara to Chitwan
Leaving Pokhara on the busy Prithvi Highway, climb out of the Seti valley into the central hill, with its views of deep rocky gorges crossed by rapidly flowing rivers and precarious suspension bridges to the intersection at Mugling. Here turn south, descending to the fertile lowlands of the Western Terai and to your lodge at Chitwan. Expect the journey to take 5 hours.
Day 13 Jungle Adventure in Chitwan National Park
Starting a day with jungle activities, like elephant safari to jeep drive can make you feel that you are in the right place where you had to be, already in a long time ago. Tour the Tharu village by walking, or you may cycle, and observe the local cultural and lifestyle of the village. Cultural dance program, in the evening is an opportunity to understand the culture and traditional values of the Tharu peoples.
Day 14 Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu
Departing from Chitwan, you will leave the lowlands, climbing into the Central Hills to join the Prithivi Highway at Mugling. It is then a slow journey east along Nepal's busiest highway, to Kathmandu. It is however a scenic route with steep rice terraces making a dramatic back drop to the river, funeral pyres, suspension bridges and villages. (170km, 6hrs)
Day 15 Final Departure
Departure to the airport for flight on wards journey.
